The school bit is concluded and now its time for his weepie.Man has always been robbed by those beautiful Products coming their way. Every teenager has a crush in 21st gen. .  He is a high-time concubine. He passes class 9th , moves to the new arena 10th. He is focussed , aims to score for top. But his centre of focus changed with just a minute mistake made by his teacher itself. The so charming Class-teacher asked the shy , quite & cute boy of his class (LEAD)to sit right next to a girl ,the Most attractive girl of the class. He spent his 1st month without a word uttered. But even God cant stop a girl speaking. The chit-chat started. The class was beginning to feel 'luv in d air',so was he.Their friendship began to touch their hearts. But every romance has villians. The so charming Class-teacher changes his place at the end of their year , thus , parting the Love-birds. The attractive girl founf a new friend , she beagan to talk with the new boy , never gave a look back to him. He was feeling as her X. His luv did not meet a happyy ending. No concentration on wrappers , becoz he lost the choco part of him. More of jealousy but dissapointment , he decided to overlook Her. But was again a failure. He cannt remove her image from his Heart. A lost guy , loses his first crush, looses his post of a good student , looses the position of a well-behaved son for his parents and so he goes to few selected locations to meet his The End. These locations are chosed by him to commit suicide. But he fails to do it for the first tym , fails in the second tym and when he was about to grab the death , something unnusual happens. Something that could never have happened with a regular school going guy. Lets see the Most Unxpected Part. Here is wat The Fiction play the role in this story.

U stand close to him & proudly says Abhay deol's"Dev D". Wat the hell ! Dad goes mad ......" Nalayak ! yehi gandi movie mili tujhe dekhne ke liye." But still we teenagers saw it. But to our surprise , the theatre  was Housefull. Tickets sold & hall Full of appreciations & applause. An unconditional movie , made with new crisps & Craps. 
Dev D is a modern take on DEVDAS , the novel written by Sarat Chandra. Devdas has already got so many takes on B-Town , Sir Dilip Kumar & the Badshah Khan evoked devdas on screen but Abhay plays Devdas as Dev with a HatKe side. The Old Paro slips into an Punjabi Outfit - Mahi Gill as Paro. Chandramukhi  turns into Chanda , the MMs queen - Kalki as Chanda. Anurag Kashyap , known more as the Dabangg Director now ,directed the movie with a new jaunar.
The idea of Luv story got a new path in B-Town. Besides some solid acting , it has more to to talk abt.
The music , the most important factor in its success rates 5 stars .18 songs and all a chartbusters. Moreover , this movie gave the world " Emotional Atyachar" . From Pardesi to Mahi , every song is on the lips 24x7.The movie talks of teenage attitude towards love & lust.Dev.D in essence is the tale of a man who goes into self destruction but the circumstances and the characters he meets are the people we meet and know and are of this generation. One of the dialogue goes - " all that u want to do is fuck." Certainly , a 21st gen. language.Inspite of being a Deol , Abhay does a great job to suit The modern Dev.
So , becoz of Chanda , Paro , Dev , Emotional Atyachar , Pardesi & the new trendy attitude towards luv -
I give it 3.5 pure gold. Damn ! its recession tym but still the movie deserves it .
One more thing - The most happy person after the succes of this movie was , no its not The actors , but it was Vindu Dara Singh becoz he finally got the chance to say " Punjab ka puttar B-Town me chaa gaya".
