Faltu aka F.A.L.T.U. is a movie directed by India's most talented & ever so kool Choreographer Remo D'souza , as it was his passion to be a film-maker. The movie shows up with a song whose lyrics follows - " Jab main chota bacchha tha to hod shararat karta tha / Ab jo main bada ho gaya te badu shararat karta hun . / Jab main chota bacchha tha galti karne se darta tha / Ab jo main bada ho gaya bas galti karna chahta hun . " The song perfectly describes the gen. Next Supastars. The faltu characters are Ritesh aka Jacky Bhagnani , Puja aka Pooja Gupta , Vishnu aka Chandan Roy , Nanj aka Angad Bedi . Yeh movie humare system ke uss subject ko chuti hai jise hum sab Education System kehte hai . Vishnu as one of the high scorers in his lyf gets 94 % marks and still disregarded by his Businessman Dad for getting 1 % less. He finds an admission in a high prestigious college but unlikely his frnds Ritesh , Puja and Nanj who managed a maukry of only 40 , 42 and 37 % does not get admission in any of the college even after touching the feet of college peons. Apne Maa-Baap ke liye beizzati ka kaaran bante hue yeh 3 dost jaate hai vishnu ke paas aur ek fake college website , ek fake college add aur ek fake admission letter banawate hai . Just to get away with their Parents scoldings they do all Faltugiri. Aur jab parents college dekhne ko kehte hai to Ritesh takes help of Google Chand aka Arshad Warsi to get rid of the danger. Google is a life-line of the 4 frnds . He comes up with a solution to every problem which arises. He gives them a building to portray it as a fake college . Guess what ? They bring a fake Principle even Mr. Baaji Rao aka Riteish Deshmuk . Baaji Rao is innovative but a mis-understood Teacher , struggles in his lyf till he meets the gang of Faltu. It was just for one day to pretend everything fake as the original . But the twist in the tail arise from here .

                           

The fake website created a arousening and the students from all corners of India came to study in the Faltu college . Howcome the college be faltu ? Fakeerchand And Lakeerchand Trust University , the name of the college decided by Ritesh. Now the way the Faltus turn the fake college into a real college is the deal of the movie.

To add to the spice & crisps in the movie there are some Beat-throb music and songs. The gen. next Muzik with superb Dance adds to the taste and Beauty of the movie. The star cast is new & refreshing . Every characters is a lot closer to the real college student who want out & out Fun , Party and Night hang-outs. The main aim of all the Faltus is to party hard and drink beer. But the lead Ritesh finds that the world calls them good for nothing out-lawed youngsters and he highly wants to prove them wrong. So as the founder of FALTU , he decides that the college will also be a spot of studies. They have to choose what they want to study . The movie here comes across some of the most happenings topics of this generation - Digital Education , Alternate Studies , Career Choice other than Engineering and Doctorerate. Theres is a big question asked in this movie " Aap 35 % waale student ko paas to kar dete ho lekin usse kisi college me admission nahi dete ho . Har college pe 70 % cut out rakhte ho to phir hum 35 % waale kaha jaayenge . Agar aisa hi karna hai to aap 70 hi passing marks rakho , aur isi 35 aur 70 ke beech bante hai hum FALTU , jise aapke hi Education System ne janam diya hai . " Isnt it a serious subject to thing upon ? Jackie as Ritesh definitely rises his Acting skills after his first film . But still there is a lot more to cover-up. All other Faltus did a job which suits the movie. Arshad and Riteish played a supporting roles , a role for the support of Jacky. "Chaar baj gaye " & " Le jaa tu mujhe" are one of the best tracks of the movie . And not to forget the Faltu Mantra " aaltu jalaaltu / aayi bala ko taal tu / tension-wension chodh de baccha / ho jaa Fully Faltu."

Faltu is a story of coming of age of todays youth . They dont choose a different path but create one. Being Faltu is fun but the movie also says that agar hum faltu apni karni pe utar aaye to we can be better than the best. The movie has some light - hearted scenes with great comic ishtyle of Arshad & Riteish . The movie has a surprise package , it ends with a fantastic climax. Its a movie for the youth but a must watch for all those parents who have a child and the child is ready to choose its path of lyf. The university FALTU is the homeground of all Faltu , and to save it dey delivers a superb show at a college festival. The brilliance of Remo's choreography marks the show here. Though the movie generates a lot of criss-cross on the Modern Education Policies , it lacks in providing a efficient logic behind it. As the name suggests , the movie is beyond that . FALTU is really worth watching, atleast once.Vashu Bhagnani gives his son Jacky a perfect beginning for his career with Faltu. Main Faltu ko 2.5 pure gold deta par movie jis subject pe bani hai , main bhi uska ek chota sa hissa hun so I give FALTU 3 pure gold.
