Vishnu ke liye Seeta ka agla sawaal - " Kaha karwaana hai tattoo ? " 
Jab woh seeta ki ore dekhta hai toh jaise Mantra - Mugdh sa ho jaata hai .

Uske khule lambe ghani zulfein machine ki hawa ke saath udte jaa rahe hai .

Uske chehre ki muskaan aur uski shahed se bhi meethi baatein ab aur bhi kareeb hai jo Vishnu ko Mantra - Mugdh kar rahi hai .
Woh mehsoos kar sakta hai bolte samay Seeta ki garm saansein jo ki thik uske seene se takraa rahi hai aur uske dill ki dhadhkano ko Mantra - Mugdh kar rahi hai . 
Kabhi kisi ladki ko apne itne kareeb nahi aane diya Vishnu ne  par aaj is ladki ne yeh kaise Jaadu - tona kar diya hai ki sirf usi ko apne kareeb chahta hai  . 
Mantra -Mugdh itna ki pata hi nahi chala ki Seeta ne apna kaam shuru kar diya hai .

" Tumhe dard nahi ho raha ? "  Seeta thode dheeme aawaaz me Vishnu se puchti hai kyuki woh nahi jaan paa rahi ki Vishnu ko pata bhi hai ki Tattoo banna shuru ho gaya hai .
Vishnu ko dard nahi , pyaar ho raha hai , aur pyaar ho raha hai - " Nahi ! " 


Idhar Vishnu aur Seeta me sirf baatein ho rahi hai . Idhar Vishnu ko zara sa bhi dard nahi ho raha hai par doosri taraf Kunal hai jo Charli dwara dhaaye gaye zulm se cheenkh raha hai  " Ouuchh ! "

Shayad yeh design ka ek hissa hoga . Needle chhubhaate hi Seeta apni palak jhapkaati hai yeh sochke ki Vishnu chillane wala hai . Par aisa nahi huwa , Vishnu nahi chillaaya .


Woh toh Mantra - Mugdh ho gaya hai seeta ki bhuri - gehri aankhon me dekh ke .
Mantra - Mugdh ho gaya hai woh seeta ke chehre pe woh bhaaw dekh ke .
Mantra - Mugdh ho gaya hai woh seeta ka haath uske seene pe mehsoos karke .

Tabhi machine ki hawa se udte huwe seeta ke ghane lambe baal Vishnu ke chehre pe bikhar jaate hai . Woh apni aankhein bandh karta hai aur aankhein bandh karne par bhi Seeta hi nazar aati hai . 
" Ooops  ! Sorry . "  Seeta apne baalon ko uske chehre se hataati hai . Jab woh aisa karti hai toh uske mulaayam haath Vishnu ke chehre ko nahi uske dill ko chhute hai .

Seeta buttons bandh karne ke baad jab Vishnu ki aankhon me dekhti hai toh kuch der woh bhi behak si jaati hai . Magar agle hi pal kehti hai - " Advice hai , Jisse pyaar hai usse bol dena aur yeh tattoo zaroor dikha dena . Badi mehnat se banaaya hai maine ! "  aur khud hi apni baat pe hasne lagti hai . Idhar Vishnu aur uska artist kaam me busy hai toh unke bagal me Kunal aur uska artist Charli bhi busy hai - " Sir ! Aap kya lenge ? " 
Kunal ek nazar vishnu ki taraf dekh raha hai aur soch raha hai - " Abey ! tattoo karwaane main aaya tha par kismat Vishnu ki chamak gayi . Dekh ! kitni khoobsurat artist tattoo bana rahi hai iska . Vishnu ko yeh nahi pata ki usko kaun sa design chayiye kyuki woh toh tattoo karwaane aaya hi nahi tha  - " Try letter 'S' on me . " 
Vishnu ki choice sunkar woh artist muskuraati hai aur samne aaker kehti hai - " Mera naam kaise pata chala tumhe ? "

"Aur nahi toh kya ! Main tattoo  ' S '  naam ka karwaaunga taaki koi bhi ladki jiska naam S se shuru hota hai woh impress ho jaaye yeh dekh ke . Ab samajh me aayi baat ? " Kunal ka plan bewkoofon wala aur Kunal ki soch usse bhi bachkaani .

Is baar thode bhaari aawaaz me kunal ne dum lagaa ke kaha par shayad isse kuch jyada asar nahi huwa us insaan jaat par . Siwaay iske ki usne Kunal ko dekha aur - " Excused ! " 
Uske bolne ke tareeke se ek baat saamne aa gayi ki yeh insaan jaat ka gussa karna banta hai . Ab jiski bhagwan ne hi kaat li ho , woh toh khafa hoga hi . Aise log jab koi form bharte hai toh question hota hai ki ' Male  /  Female ' ? , toh yeh log '/ ' pe tick karte hai . Na ganga ke is paar aur na yamuna ke us paar .

" Yess ! toh aap tattoo karwaane aaye hai ? " Tabhi ek aadmi aaker Vishnu se puchta hai ki kya usko tattoo karwaana hai . Magar Kunal aage aaker bataata hai ki tatto vishnu ko nahi balki usko karwaana hai .
Woh aadmi jo pehle se hi tattoo machine liye huwe khadhe tha , bola - "  Tum  ?  " Phir ek khaali jagah pe point karte huwe kehta hai ki - " Sit there ! The artist will be coming in a few sec . " 
Uske bolte hi kunal waha jaaker baith jaata hai . Vishnu bhi uske saath , uske piche khadha hoker aazu - baazu dekhne laga . Sabhi artist kitne be -  rehmi se kisi ke shareer me chhed kar sakte hai . Independence Day in India – 15 August, 1947

Azaadi Ka Tyohaar !

On the eve of India’s independence, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru famous speech “Tryst with Destiny” marked the beginning of a free India with words symbolizing hope and triumph. India got its independence from the clutches of British rule on 15th August 1947. It was this day when India’s tricolor flag was unfolded by Pandit Nehru on the barricades of the Red Fort at Delhi. Each and every patriotic soul watched with excitement and paid tribute to thousands of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India’s freedom.

 On this special occasion, rich tributes are paid to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives and fought to free their motherland from the clutches of the oppressors - British who ruled the country. 

It is a day to pay a mark of respect to our saviors because of whom we are breathing an air of freedom which does not have the elements of exploitation and repression. 

Men and women from all over India joined hands and fought for India’s freedom. Many were acclaimed while others contribution went unnoticed. However, praise wasn’t what they desired for. It was the dream of free and autonomous India which motivated them to walk the path of struggle unselfishly. Neither did they battle for their region nor for their natives, but for India and Indians.

Independence Day celebrations in India

Independence Day is considered as a national holiday in India. The arrangement begins a month before the D-day and the roads are embellished with ribbons and Indian flags.

Flag-hoisting ceremonies are executed all over India by state governments. However, the chief event is conducted in the capital city of India, New Delhi where the Prime Minister of India unfurls the tricolor at the barricades of Red Fort which receives a salutation of 21 guns, and addresses the nation with his speech.

The Prime Minister’s speech holds major importance as it pays tribute to the great souls who sacrificed their lives for nation’s independence and reveals the achievements of the nation during the past year beside discussing significant issues and proposing steps for further growth.

A vibrant parade exhibiting India’s cultural multiplicity, emblematic portrayals of the nation’s developments in science and technology, a collaborative parade of India’s armed competencies by the three forces and patriotic skits and dramas by school children are an integral part of the Independence Day festivities.

On this day the skyline of the capital city gets sprinkled with innumerable multicolored kites. People indulge in kite flying competitions and children cheer aloud elevating the spirit of the day.

Raksha bandhan is one of the most popular festivals in India. Celebrating the divine bod of love between brother & sister, Raksha Bandhan is also known as 'Rakhi'. Sisters tie a delicate cord of 'Rakhi' on their brother's wrist, pulsating with sublime sentiment and pray for their long life. Brothers, in turn, give them enticing rakhi gifts and vows to protect and care for them life long. Raksha Bandhan is celebrated on the full moon day of the month of Shraavan (as per Hindu calendar), i.e. in the months of July and August. As Rakhi is celebrated as per the Hindu calendar the dates may vary year after year. In 2011 - Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated on Saturday, 13th of August.  

Rakhi stands for the celebration of emotions and is also known as Raksha Bandhan – the knot of protection. People have a belief that the thread of Rakhi has a strong power to hold the affectionate relation of a brother and sister. Since ages, this festival is being celebrated to cherish the most sacred relation on this globe. The festival of Rakhi is celebrated in almost all the corners of this world and the name of this festival changes as soon as one enters into a new region. India is worldly known for its strong family based system, therefore, Rakhi is celebrated with lots of hues of love and care. The festivity of Rakhi has been showcasing the eternal love and care between brothers and sisters. This festival of Rakhi is seen as a way of expressing your love for those who are always there in dark days of your life. This day starts with tying a Rakhi thread on the brother's wrist by the sister. Rakhis are a symbol of love and affection of sisters for their dearest brothers. Brothers likewise understands the true meaning of rakhi and by extending his wrist forward, he promises to protect her from all hardships of life. Sisters also apply kumkum powder on the forehead of their brother and perform aarti before him for showering their brothers with blessings of god. All those sisters who can't meet their brothers, will send their Rakhi with their hearty wishes via post or by placing an online order. This world will be united as one because the day brings in the feel of togetherness to all. After performing all these rituals, the whole family reunion to enjoy and have fun. Then all of them share the delicious food, tasty sweets, gifts, music and dance. It is a day to remember all the memorable time spent together for those who, for any reason, are far away from their family. Emotions can also be expressed through e-mails, e-cards, rakhi greeting cards and rakhi through Internet. The overflowing emotions of siblings cannot be stopped on this day.

Rabindra Nath Tagore started gathering of people like 'Rakhi Mahotsavas' in Shantiniketan to propogate the feeling of brotherhood among people. He believed that the this will invoke trust and feeling of peaceful coexistence. Raksha Bandhan, for them, is a way to harmonize the relationship of humanity. The tradition continues as people started tying rakhis to the neighbor and friends.

Legends of Rakhi

Number of legends are associated with the ancient festival of Raksha Bandhan. A popular legend of Rakhi from Bhavishya Puran narrates the story of Indra and Indrani. It says that once Lord Indra was facing reverses in battle against demons led by King Bruta. At this stage Indra sought help of Guru Brihaspati. The sage advised him to tie a sacred thread powered by mantras on the auspicious day of Shravan Purnima. Following the suggestion, Indra's consort Indrani tied the sacred thread on Indra's wrist on the decided time. The Rakhi helped Gods win the battle against the demons. From then on sisters' began to tie a Rakhi on their brother's wrist on the auspicious day of Raksha Bandhan.

Narial Poornima or Coconut Full Moon: The festival of Rakhi is also known as Narial Poornima or Coconut Full Moon. On Mumbai's famous beaches, coconuts are thrown into the sea to propitiate the Sea God, Varuna, who is the chief object of worship on this occasion.

Avani Avittam: Rakhi is called Avani Avittam in South India. This is the time of "upakarmam" and is celebrated in various ways all over South India. It falls on the full-moon day of the month of Shravan (August-September). Rakhi forms an important Hindu festival in South India.

Balev: Rakhi is also commonly known known Balev. This festival has special significance among Brahmins as it is the day on which Brahmins change their sacred thread. On Shravan Sud 15 when the moon is in the constellation of Shravan the Brahmins, while changing their sacred thread, rededicate themselves to study the vedas and pursue spiritual upliftment.

The tradition of dedicating a day in honor of friends began in US in 1935.  The tradition of celebrating Friendship Day began in 1935 when the US Congress decided to dedicate a day in the honor of friends. Though it is not known exactly what were the reasons that went into the making of this day, the retrospection of the world scenario of those times can lead us to an understanding. Since then, celebration of National Friendship Day became an annual event. The lofty idea of honoring the beautiful relationship of friendship caught on with the people, particularly the youngsters all over the country, and in no time Friendship Day became a highly popular festival.  Today, Friendship Day is enthusiastically celebrated every year by many countries. The occasion is observed on the first Sunday of every August. The traditional celebrations include meeting with friends and exchanging of cards, flowers and gifts. Many social and cultural organizations also celebrate Friendship Day by hosting programs and get togethers. Special performances by rock bands are also organized in countries like the US to enhance the jubilations.  The popular customs of Friendship Day includes handing over roses, especially the pink and yellow ones. The day is observed with great exhilaration and merriment, with friends throwing parties, gorging on lip-smacking dishes and drinking hard . Yellow Rose was chosen as the official flower for Friendship Day festival because it symbolizes joy, friendship, delight, promise of a new beginning, "remember me", and "I care". Friendship Forever

Two inseparable friends, Sam and Jason, met with an accident on their way to Boston City. The following morning, Jason woke up blind and Sam was still unconscious. Dr. Berkeley was standing at his bedside looking at his health chart andmedications with a thoughtful expression on his face. When he saw Sam awake, he beamed at him and asked." How are you feeling today Sam?" Sam tried to put up a brave face and smiled back saying, "absolutely wonderful Doctor. I am very grateful for all that you have done for me. "Dr Berkeley was moved at Sam's deed. All that he could say was, "You are a very brave man Sam and God will make it up to you in one way or another". While he was moving on to the next patient, Sam called back at him almost pleading, "promise me you won't tell Jason anything".
"You know I won't do that. Trust me." and walked away.
"Thank you " whispered Sam. He smiled and looked up in prayer " I hope I live up to your ideas...please give me the strength to be able to go through this..Amen"

Months later when Jason had recuperated considerably, he stopped hanging around with Sam. He felt discouraged andembarrassed to spend time with a disabled person like Sam.

Sam was lonely and disheartened ,since he didn't have any body else other than Jason to count on. Things went from bad to worse. And one day Sam died in despair. When Jason was called on his burial, he found a letter waiting for him. Dr Berkeleygave it to him with an expressionless face and said" This is for you Jason. Sam had asked me to give it to you when he was gone".

In the letter he had said: " Dear Jason, I have kept my promise in the end to lend you my eyes if anything had happened to them. Now there is nothing more that I can ask from God, than the fact ,that will see the world through my eyes. You will always be my best friend........Sam".

When he had finished reading Dr. Berkeley said " I had promised Sam to keep his sacrifice he made a secret from you. But now I wish I didn't stick it Because I don't think It was worthy it" .
All that was left for Jason while he stood there was tears of regret and memories of Sam for the rest of his life .
